Sunset Spot is small and honest about it: twenty metres by ten, on slightly contoured ground, and genuinely useful for roughly the last hour of light. That is not a limitation being talked around - it is what the space is for.

It is the location a photographer will ask for. The plan is simple: come up between the ceremony and the reception, let the light do the work, and be back down with the guests inside half an hour. Styled shoots and brand photography suit it for the same reason.

It also carries a small ceremony - an elopement or a sixty-guest wedding - or a sundowner toast before dinner somewhere else on the property. Priced accordingly.

Can we book it just for an hour?
The 2026 rate card is full-day exclusive hire across all areas, so it is priced that way for consistency. If you are already hiring another space on the property, ask us about adding Sunset Spot to the booking.
What time is golden hour here?
It moves through the year - roughly 4pm in midwinter to past 6pm in midsummer. We will give you the times for your specific date so your photographer can plan the run sheet around them.
Is it a hard walk up?
Assume contoured natural ground and dress guests accordingly.
What if it is overcast?
The outlook still works; the light is just softer. Photographers generally do not mind. Book your other spaces for what the day needs and treat this one as a bonus.
