The single thing that turns a day at Tuchekoi into a proper one is people not having to drive home. Camp Lookout already handles that: a flat plateau within walking distance of the amenities block, set up for swags and bell tents, and already used for overnight stays. Book it today and that is what you get.

What is coming is more comfortable. Eight safari-style tents are in planning for the property - four fully self-contained with their own ensuites, and four base units using the existing ablution block. All eight would run on a central off-grid solar system with battery storage, backed by the generator already on site, with a packaged wastewater treatment plant handling the rest.

We are not taking bookings for the tents yet and we are not going to pretend otherwise - the infrastructure has to go in first. If overnight accommodation is the difference between Tuchekoi working for your event and not, tell us your timeframe and we will be straight with you about where it is up to.

Before you enquire

Can we stay at Tuchekoi right now?
Yes - at Camp Lookout, in swags or bell tents, with the ablution block within walking distance. Tent and swag supply can be arranged; tell us your numbers.
When will the safari tents be available?
The accommodation is in planning and depends on infrastructure going in first. We will not take a booking for something that does not exist yet.
What will the self-contained tents include?
Four of the eight are planned with their own ensuites. The other four would use the existing ablution block, which is a short walk from the camp area.
Is there power?
The plan is a central off-grid solar system with battery storage, reticulated to all eight tents, with the existing on-site generator as backup.
Can a wedding party stay on site?
In the current setup, yes - under canvas at Camp Lookout. For anything requiring beds and ensuites, Pomona, Cooroy and Gympie are all within a half-hour drive.
