The Huey is a UH-1H, and it is the single most photographed object we own. People climb in, sit in the pilot's seat, take the door gunner's position, and stay considerably longer than they intended to.
It works as an interactive educational display - the aircraft has a history and we tell it - and equally as a photo booth, a prop, or the most unusual bar at the event. Schools, fetes, festivals, fairs and private property are all regular bookings.
It can also be combined with anything else we run, which is how it usually ends up being used: the aircraft as the centrepiece, activities around it, and the coffee van parked alongside.
