Tuchekoi sits in the hills between Pomona and Imbil, in the Gympie Region - far enough inland that the coast noise drops away, close enough that guests from Noosa arrive in under an hour. The Mary River runs along the western boundary. Ironstone Creek runs through the middle of the property.

The name is a Kabi word understood to mean place of fig trees. The land does what the name suggests: open mown lawns fall away toward the creek, a lily-filled dam sits on the southern boundary, and bushland closes in at the edges.

Eight areas across the property are set up for hire. Each is booked exclusively for the day - not shared, not scheduled around another event - and each is listed below with its real dimensions, ground type and rate, so you can work out whether it fits before you pick up the phone.

Questions

Before you enquire

Can we hire the whole property rather than one space?

Yes. Exclusive use of the whole property is quoted as a package rather than by adding the individual area rates together - it works out lower than the sum of the parts. Tell us your dates and guest numbers and we will price it.

Is this a dry hire venue?

Yes. Rates are for exclusive use of the space itself. You bring your own caterer, bar, marquee, furniture and styling, or we can put you in touch with suppliers who already know the site. Xperiences also runs its own catering, bar and activity services if you would rather book it all in one place.

Is there accommodation on site?

Camp Lookout already hosts overnight stays in swags and bell tents. Permanent accommodation is planned. For larger groups, Pomona, Cooroy and Gympie are all within a half-hour drive.

What happens if it rains?

The Barn Inn is the covered space on the property and is the usual wet-weather answer for anything under about 80 people. For larger events, a marquee on the Lawn is the standard approach - the Lawn has the footprint for one plus back-of-house.

What is already on site?

An ablution block, rainwater storage, two dams, mains-independent backup power generation, and vehicle access to the central areas. Specific power, water and access arrangements vary by area and are listed on each space's page.

How far in advance should we book?

Tuchekoi is newly opened for hire, so dates are wide open - which is the best reason to talk to us now rather than later. Mid-week dates are discounted.
