Camp Lookout solves the problem every rural venue has with overnight guests: it is far enough from the event spaces to feel like camp, and close enough to the ablution block that nobody is walking twenty minutes in the dark.

The ground is a flat natural plateau, which is what swags, bell tents and safari tents need. It already hosts overnight stays, so this is not a theoretical use - the logistics have been run.

It is the space that turns a one-day booking into a two-day one. A corporate program, a bucks weekend or a wedding where half the guest list is driving from Brisbane all work better when people can stay on site.

Do you supply the tents?
Bell tent and swag supply can be arranged. Tell us the numbers and the comfort level you are after and we will quote the setup.
How many people can stay overnight?
It depends on the configuration, and bell tents take considerably more room per head than swags.
Are there toilets and showers?
Yes - the ablution block is within walking distance of the camp area.
Can we have a fire?
Fire arrangements are subject to conditions on the day and to Gympie Regional Council and Queensland Fire Department restrictions. We confirm this close to your date.
