The Barn Inn is the one space on the property with a roof, which makes it the most useful building here for reasons that have nothing to do with how it looks. It is the wet-weather plan, the presentation room, the lunch room and the bar, depending on the day.

It sits at the centre of the property, near Operations HQ, so it is the natural gathering and regrouping point between activities elsewhere on site. Groups working at the Outpost or on the creek come back here to eat.

It reads rustic rather than polished - timber, structure, no pretence at being a function room. For a catered lunch, a briefing or drinks before dinner, that is exactly right. For a formal sit-down of any size, a marquee on the Lawn is the answer.

Is it fully enclosed?
It is a covered rustic structure rather than a sealed building. We will confirm exactly what cover it gives for your date and expected conditions.
Can we use it as our wet-weather backup at no extra cost?
Holding it as a backup means holding the space, so it is booked and charged like any other area. It is a modest rate relative to the peace of mind.
Is there a kitchen?
Caterers generally work from their own mobile setup. The Couples Retreat has a kitchenette, and the property has rainwater storage.
Can we have a projector and sound for a presentation?
The property has backup generation on site. Tell us your requirements and we will confirm what the space supports.
