Looking for the ultimate outdoor adventure on the Sunshine Coast? Xperiences runs high-powered outdoor activities for families, groups of friends, birthday celebrations and anyone who would rather spend a Saturday doing something than watching something. We are located on site at Twin Waters Resort, on a dedicated outdoor arena with custom tactical battlefields, realistic obstacles, dedicated target ranges and instruction from qualified staff.

Test your aim on the archery range, feel the thunk of a bullseye in axe throwing, gear up for pain-free gel blasting, or take the field for high-impact tactical paintball. All professional gear and safety equipment is provided on site - you bring enclosed shoes and a willingness to lose to a nine-year-old.

No experience is needed for any of it. Every session opens with a full safety briefing and coached technique, and our staff run the game formats from start to finish.

Who are our outdoor leisure Xperiences for?

Families & kids

School holidays, birthdays, or a weekend where nobody wants to be indoors. Archery works from 8 and suits mixed ages better than anything else we run - grandparents and eight-year-olds shoot the same targets. Gel blasting is the one children ask for by name, and because the gel is water-based there is nothing to scrub out of anything on the way home.

Friends & group outings

Two hours, no experience required, and a scoreboard. Groups of friends tend to book two activities back to back - the loud one and the precise one - which gives the session a shape and gives everyone a chance to win something. Work social clubs and sporting clubs book the same format.

Bucks & hens parties

One last adventure before the big day, and considerably better photographs than a brewery. Axe throwing and paintball are the usual pair, with archery added when the group spans a wide range of enthusiasm. Add the BBQ zone and it becomes the whole afternoon rather than the first part of it.

Frequently asked questions

Where are Xperiences leisure activities located?
Our outdoor adventure arena is on site at Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland - a few minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport and about twenty from Maroochydore.
Do I need prior experience to participate?
No. Every session includes a comprehensive safety briefing and professional instruction from qualified staff. Most people are hitting targets within the first ten minutes.
What should I wear for outdoor activities?
Enclosed shoes are mandatory for all activities. Otherwise, comfortable outdoor clothing you do not mind getting grubby, plus a hat and insect repellent - we are outdoors, and it is Queensland.
How long does a session run?
Archery runs about an hour, axe throwing one to two, and gel blasting and paintball two or more. Combining two activities in one visit is common - tell us when you book.
Do we need to book, or can we turn up?
Book. Sessions are staffed and the gear has to be prepped, so we do not run drop-ins.
Is there a minimum group size?
No. Come as a family, a couple or a group of twelve. Corporate team-building programs are the ones that work best with a bigger group.
Can we do more than one activity in a visit?
Yes, and most groups do. Archery pairs particularly well with axe throwing, and gel blasting with paintball for groups who want both versions of the same fight.
